Missing News: Medieval Warm Period similar to Modern Warm Period

ABC MISSING HEADLINE: "Climate scientists show Medieval Warm Period similar to Modern Warm Period"
ABC DID NOT REPORT: As of March 17, 2010 we can find no mention of a study titled "Climatic signals in multiple highly resolved stable isotope records from Greenland" by Vinther et al

published in the peer reviewed journal Quaternary Science Reviews (Volume 29 pages 522-538). The study reported that "Winter season stable isotope data from ice core records that reach more than 1400 years back in time suggest that the warm period that began in the 1920s raised southern Greenland temperatures to the same level as those that prevailed during the warmest intervals of the Medieval Warm Period some 900–1300 years ago."

THE COMPLAINT: Can ABC please provide coverage of this important result. The study authors include scientists Dr Phil Jones and Dr Keith Briffa of the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia. Both these scientists feature prominently in the so called Climategate scandal.
ABC ED POL: 5.2.2 (f) Be questioning. Serve the public interest by investigating issues affecting society and individuals.
OUTCOME: Pending
COMMENT: Seems the MWP will not die. Perhaps ABC can also update references in its flawed Climate Time Line?
