ABC'S MISSING HEADLINE: "World may not be warming"
ABC DID NOT REPORT: As of 16/2/2010 7:33am ABC has failed to cover a story that appeared in The Sunday Times newspaper that reports: "However, new research, including work by British scientists, is casting doubt on such claims (that the world has warmed by 0.7C). Some even suggest the world may not be warming much at all.
“The temperature records cannot be relied on as indicators of global change,” said John Christy, professor of atmospheric science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a former lead author on the IPCC.
THE COMPLAINT:ABC claims to be Australia's most trusted, independent source of news. News should be reported in a timely manner. Why has this news not been reported on? If by the time this complaint is received a report has been made, why did the ABC take so long to report on it?
Can the ABC please provide a report on this important news so Australian audiences without access to The Sunday Times can have access to this news.
OUTCOME: "I refer to your emails of 23 March and 20 and 16 February 2010.
